What's going on everyone?
Welcome to Blue Collar Crypto.
I hope everybody's having a great day.
I am bringing you guys another Elastos video today.
We're going to do something a little bit different.
By the way, I want to give a shout out to the Elastos community,
Shout out to the Cyber Republic,
shout out to everybody who's been watching my videos,

following my channel, liking, commenting, subscribing.
You guys are the best.
I am trying hard to listen, to keep my finger on the pulse
of the Elastos community, of the Cyber Republic.
Thank you, guys, for your support, really appreciate it.
Be sure to hit the like button.
So last week, I made a video on the 10 reasons to buy Elastos
and it was essentially the bull case.
It was a summation of all the positives
and the reasons why I'm bullish on Elastos.
And I got great feedback from you guys about that video
and honestly it was a lot of fun making that video.
However, many people, I was watching the comments,
many people commented
and these were legitimate comments,
they weren't haters but they were asking,
这些人问到 听着 我们也很喜欢亦来云
they were saying, "Listen, we love Elastos too
but can you address concerns?
Can you talk about the concerns
or the bear arguments for Elastos?"
And many of you guys presented your points, well thought out points.
再强调一次 这些观点不是无理由的 它们都是合理的
Again, this wasn't hate or FUD; these were rational,
legitimate conversations and legitimate comments.
By the way, I really appreciate that guys.
So, may make a video on my concerns about Elastos and listen,
听着 认为一个项目完全是假大空 这种想法是很天真的
it would be naive to pretend that it's all rainbows and butterflies
because it's not, no project is.
There are concerns, there are challenges that Elastos faces.
Listening to the community and with myself included, if there's one area of concern,
that's talked about frequently; it would have to be within the realm
and the sphere of marketing.
In the area of marketing.
Now, before we bust out the pitchforks,
there are a few things we need to consider.
One, it's a Chinese project
and Chinese projects face great challenges.
They face a lot of headwinds,
there's cultural differences, there's language barriers,
there's this firewall, this isolation of China
and getting information out of it is really hard to.
So Chinese projects tend to have issues with marketing.
Elastos is also a very complex project,
which makes it difficult to sum up in a quick
marketable presentation or package.
Combine this with the fact that essentially this massive undertaking,
is being handled right now by a team of three people.
So, all that needs to be considered.
However, despite all that, there are questions that remain.
Okay, so what I did was, I took the initiative and took it upon myself,
to put together sort of an unofficial AMA.
I gathered questions from the community,
I vetted them and I narrowed them down to 10.
I also inserted questions of my own
and I submitted these questions to the team.
I just got their responses
and that's what I will be presenting to you today.
Now these are condensed versions of their responses,
their direct quotes but I've sort of picked and choose,
just to keep the content condensed.
The full text will be posted
and the questions and answers
will be posted and I will share that with you guys.
These questions were submitted to Donnie Bullers,
he is the brand manager of Elastos.
He's down in North Carolina.
He just had a newborn baby,
so shout out to Donnie's newborn baby
and I want to thank him, for taking the time to really put thought
and answer these questions and give the community this information,
to get it out there, even with just welcoming a new child into his house.
So, shout out to Donnie.
Thank you for these answers.
I also want to thank the organizers,
the telegram admins and the organizers
that helped me gather the questions and put this down together.
So, shout out to you guys.
All right, let's get right into it, guys.
Okay, so the first question for Donnie is,
can you tell the Elastos community
a little bit about yourself?
your background and your marketing experience?
Alright, so Donny said, "I come from a wide-ranging background,
both in education and experience.
I joined Elastos as a digital marketing agency vice president."
So, vice president of a digital marketing agency.
我做过品牌建立 产品设计 社交网站运营
"I've built brands, designed products, cultivated social networks,
developed websites, operated e-commerce storefronts,
managed Import Export logistics, overseen HR,
还涉足过非盈利组织 会计 商务发展等等
dabbled in nonprofit, accounting, business development, you name it."
For more about Donnie,
check out the Elastos weekly update interview.
There is a link below.
Alright, so Donnie is somebody,
he didn't make it to Thailand.
I communicate with a lot of the team members.
I've met pretty much all of them except for Donnie.
So, he's kind of been in the background, at least for me personally.
So, it's great to sort of get some details
and get some information about Donnie.
Okay, question number two.
Can you summarize the overall marketing strategy of Elastos?
Elastos is massive, Elastos is confusing.
Elastos can be pulled in so many directions.
We all understand that.
But truly understanding how to market this behemoth
是需要一定时间的 更不必说 这一切
has taken some time. Not to mention an undertaking
that is spearheaded by a team of three, as mentioned.
It began with forming the identity of Elastos,
which quickly pivoted to introducing
Cyber Republic and now back to the branding and marketing of Elastos.
These shifts combined with now simultaneously building two brands,
is certainly slow the overall strategy
but at the same time,
placed us in an exciting position to round out the year.
Question number three.
In your opinion, do you feel the overall marketing strategy
for Elastos has been successful today?
What are some things that can be improved upon?
Over the last several months,
we have been focused on building the groundwork,
vetting agencies, laying out the direction,
understanding the brand,
strengthening the vision and to be honest working out the kinks.
作为一家创业公司 是的 我们是一家创业公司
With a startup, yes, we are startup, of this nature,
we do not have the luxury
of having all the essential pieces in place from the get go.
So, they're building a whole new marketing engine.
In combination with the new website,
Official Elastos' news page, leading PR agency,
cutting edge growth marketing agency
and top-level design agency,
November will be a jumping off point.
So, Donnie is promising us that we'll see a culmination,
we'll see a coming together of all the new initiatives
and efforts in November.
And the overall feel of his answers is that, "Be patient,
you're going to start to see the fruit of the marketing efforts."
There's been an admission that
there hasn't been much fruit originally as of yet,
however, it's going to come together soon.
Number four, this was my question to the team.
Why are there projects which Elastos is light years beyond based on
every fundamental metric such as Tron
valued at 25 times Elastos by the market?
To me this is a marketing issue.
These projects have the advantage of the previous bull market.
Okay, I get this and I can relate to this.
I will stipulate this point right here,
Elastos really didn't have the luxury of catching the last bull market.
Its public sale was in January
and that was at the peak of the bull market.
Now what that did give was an environment
for a very successful public offering
in which it raised lots of money and was well funded.
However, by the time it hit exchanges, yes,
the bull market was ending
and things began going down.
So, I can relate to this personally guys because my YouTube channel,
has only known a bear market.
That's all I know, is a bear market.
So I get what he's saying.
On the other hand, I will say that if you look at other projects
such as Tron, I think Tron is a great comparison
because it's a Chinese project,
so, you can't use the fact that Elastos is Chinese in it, as an excuse
but Tron doesn't have marketing issues.
If there's one thing it knows how to do is marketing.
With Justin Sun.
I think there is somewhat of Star power missing from Elastos,
this my personal opinion.
Even with Neo, where you have Da,
you have somebody in the spotlight,
somebody in the limelight that is creating buzz,
We don't see that at Elastos.
So, I will stipulate the point that
Elastos missed the bull market.
But there's still an issue here,
there's still an issue here because like I said,
if you look at the quality, we are light years,
miles ahead of some of these other projects.
Yet, trading, valued by the market,
the market is setting the value
and we trade at a fraction of these other projects.
He also says, "What many do not see or understand is
Elastos is truly the one with the advantage of timing."
"We are building our foundation in a bear market,
grinding it out,
actually, looking to the future and putting things in place today,
to reach the highest potential with tangible growth."
All right, again, I can relate because
I've built a YouTube channel in a bear market.
There's a difference, there's a resilience, there's a persistence
where you’re not just used to fluffy, easy environments.
So, I get what he's saying here and again, it is a valid point.
Number five, in addition to developers, who are the
key demographics that Elastos is trying to reach?
Are there strategic industry markets that Elastos is targeting?
"We seek to hone in our conversions
through the development of an updated elastos.org website.
Paired with a new growth marketing agency relationship."
I'll say that, again, new growth marketing agency relationship.
So, they have something in the works here with a marketing agency.
"Elastos plans to place the focus on two key demographics."
And this is a theme throughout his answers.
The first is, those interested in learning more about the modern internet
and the second is establish businesses
interested in building decentralized applications on Elastos.
We plan on continuously engaging these individuals
and invite them to participate in the upcoming beta.
Get ready to sign up for an exclusive invite.
I can't wait.
第六个问题 除了Sierra 100 亦来云
Number six, outside of the Sierra 100,
what is being done to attract developers to Elastos?
For developers, the doors have been
thrown open with the Cyber Republic.
This will be their oasis and Elastos will make every effort
to provide the path to get there.
So, this is interesting guys, the Cyber Republic Council
has just recently approved the proposal
for a marketing team to be built inside of the Cyber Republic community.
This group will be essential and kick starting the marketing strategies
that will drive those developers to contribute on Elastos.
Okay, so the CR just approved an in-house marketing team,
specifically, for the Cyber Republic.
Are there any marketing attempts being made
towards other blockchain projects
with the intention of getting them to pour over to Elastos?
So, he's quoting from the new website here, "Build on Elastos,
integrate with Elastos and join Elastos.
We have every intention of focusing on the integration part
with equal importance as the other two.
And he says that 2019 will be an amazing time for Elastos development
where the idea of porting over to Elastos
will be met with minimal hesitation.
"Our marketing strategy will be geared towards attracting these projects
and providing the resources necessary to convert."
They need to create an environment, they need to make it easy
for dApps to port over to Elastos.
How is Elastos planning on reaching everyday users?
"Hacks are transpiring, data breaches are frequent
and the people are beginning to pay attention.
The people need decentralization, the people need data privacy.
We will attract these users through the support
of our new website, branding
and growth marketing agency, to visit our website
and become connected.
Mainstream penetration will be dependent
on creating dApps that will look
and feel like normal applications
but offer features never seen before.
And Elastos will make this a reality.
Soon, users will be able to sign up for beta invites
and actively participate in the offerings of Elastos."
So here is where we kind of get the comprehensive strategy,
the comprehensive marketing strategy.
This is a big one guys, because of the lack of information,
many community members are curious
and even skeptical about the role of Wachsman.
What specifically are they working on
and what are they responsible for?
"So, Wachsman is a top full service PR agency
for blockchain projects.
They work from an earned media approach
to represent their clients to the public
and help media exposure.
This means that no one is paid to write about Elastos.
Journalists do it because they believe the story
is newsworthy to their readership.
Wachsman also provides communications strategy
to our team and crisis management, if needed."
Alright, this is the answer continued.
All right, now here we get into some meat of what they do.
On a weekly basis, they pitch Elastos to publications,
coordinate interviews for team members, both written and on camera,
get articles, bylines and quotes placed in publications.
Draft press releases when we have news,
strategize on how the team should release specific information to the public,
provide event management support
when we go to or plan to go to conferences or events
and give overall professional public relations strategy and advice.
Having professionals who gauge the climate
and know how to navigate it with a track record of success
is really a necessity.
The footprint that a PR agency leaves is subtle for a reason
but to point you in the right direction,
when you see an article about Elastos
on a crypto website or a regular news site,
when you see commentary from the team in an article,
see an interview with a team member
on a YouTube channel, website or podcast
or watch a large piece of news released by the team,
these are all things that our agency has a direct influence on."
So, he gives us a lot here guys and I appreciate this.
I've heard many a times, from community members,
what is Wachsman actually doing?
So, he goes into details.
Number 10, what can we do as a community
to help spread the word about Elastos?
Cyber Republic, join it.
Every person has a voice, every person who can participate
and every person can make a difference.
It will be up to you to bring Cyber Republic to life.
If you have an idea, speak up.
If you have skills, show them off.
If you are an entrepreneur, build a team.
The doors are always open and the possibilities are endless.
There will be a link, that will be a link below guys
to visit the Cyber Republic, to join the cyber public.
Let me know what you think.
Let me know what you think about these questions.
Let me know if you have follow-up questions.
I feel like there's a lot of good information.
I feel like we've gotten clarity on some things.
Do you still have questions?
Do you still have concerns?
Let me know, but that is the presentation.
Like I said, I will post the link
to the full text of this article, of this Q&A.
Thank you, guys, for watching.
Thank you for liking, sharing, subscribing.
I will see you on the next one.
Everybody, have a great day.
